Wok India has just won its first award!! After starting our journey a little over a year ago we’ve just won Takeaway of the Year for North East England. Not to mention it was at thee prestigious Asian Curry Awards held at the Grovenor Hotel, only one of the most honourable awards shows of the industry.
It was a privilege to win this award for Wok India and put Indo Chinese food on the map, and on such a grand scale. We’re so proud of how far we’ve come and it couldn’t have been without our staff and customers. It feels amazing to bring this award back home to Newcastle and make Heaton proud 🫶🏼 Let’s continue showing the world what Indo Chinese food is all about!
